Always a popular “collectable” at conferences, sponsorship of the delegate bag provides the sponsor with an excellent marketing opportunity during the Conference week and extended exposure for years beyond. The sponsor company will be recognized by a company logo on the front of the bag. (To be decided upon once the style of the bag has been finalised).

Lanyards or “neck cords” are attached to the name badge and is a highly visible item worn by every delegate and thus a wonderful marketing tool. The sponsor will have its name and logo tastefully presented on the cord. The lanyards will highlight the theme of “Act, Connect and End the Epidemic” and will be co branded with both the conference logo and the sponsors logo.

The opening cocktail party takes place in the exhibition hall directly after the opening session. Sponsor will have an opportunity to connect with the conference participants during the event. Sponsors may supply pull-up banners to be display on the evening of the cocktail.

Funds used to provide support of this area will allow NGOs to participate in the conference at a no cost. Often the incredible work done on the ground, and which has the potential to make the biggest impact on those dealing with HIV/ AIDS in their community is not represented at the conference due to a lack of funds available. By offering the space at no cost for these organisations can be represented and given a stronger voice at this important international forum. The Sponsors name and logo will be displayed prominently in the area and other recognition will be given where appropriate.

During the past SA AIDS Conferences the community village was a great success. In 2023 we hope to scale up the community village
with a dedicated youth pavilion and women’s networking zone. The community village is a dedicated exhibition area for NGO exhibitors.
Sponsor will have the opportunity to brand sponsored stands , appear in the programme as a proud supporter of the community village.
The area will be open to the public with live show taking place. This is the perfect opportunity for sponsors to reinforce the commitment to the AIDS community.

The People Living with HIV/AIDS Lounge presents a unique opportunity for organisations to provide direct assistance to individuals living with HIV/ AIDS during the period of the conference. The lounge will provide facilities for rest, relaxation, and information exchange. It will also serve as a gathering place for people living with HIV/AIDS and act as a refuge for those that may need a break from the strain of a busy conference. As a supporter of the lounge, you may provide material such as brochures or flyers to be made available. Support for the lounge will be recognized by signage within the location. The lounge also gives you the chance to interact on a very personal level with those that may have in the past or in the future gained the most from your involvement in the field.

Youth are an integral part of the SA AIDS Conferences. We want to ensure that their involvement builds on what we achieved at our previous conferences.
